Commencement is a special time for Argosy University students and their families as well as our faculty and staff. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all graduates at the Argosy campuses throughout the nation and especially to our online students, who can attend graduation ceremonies at any campus location that is convenient to them.
Please visit the Campus Common to see a list of our campuses along with ceremony dates and registration deadlines.
Please direct all questions to your Academic Counselor, so as to help us to avoid confusion with the campuses. Please do not reach out to the campuses individually.
Each campus allows a certain number of guests per student. This number varies between campuses, so please speak with your Academic Counselor about the number of tickets that will be allotted to you.
These deadlines are set by the campuses so that they have time to prepare the venue, print the programs and ensure that graduation is a successful and positive experience for everyone involved.
The campuses are strict with the deadlines, so we ask that you contact your Academic Counselor as soon as you decide to attend a campus graduation ceremony. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to walk at a ceremony. Students must follow the proper process listed on the Commencement Page and speak with their Academic Counselor.
No. Students will receive their diploma and transcripts via mail. Students may receive a diploma cover at the ceremony, but will not receive their actual diploma for approximately 5-6 weeks after Graduation.
Please wait until you have received specific instruction from the campus on how to order regalia. It can vary from campus to campus, so it’s best not to order until the campus asks you to do so. Please note that this needs to be ordered far in advance of the ceremony. Check with your Academic Counselor regarding deadlines.
Students registered to walk at the ceremony will receive a packet of information via email. The packet will include all details about the ceremony and may be sent anywhere from a few weeks to a few months prior to the ceremony.
